I am just updating you following the situation on our perimeter today. As you will be aware, a house fire caused a whole school evacuation for quite a period of time today. Having evacuated safely to the South Yard, we later arranged for year groups to be housed in buildings away from the incident.
Parents/carers and students, it is vital that you read this letter from Mrs Brett carefully which outlines the plans to return to school from Monday 8th March. The letter contains information about the timetable for testing for COVID-19 and when each year group is expected to return.

As I’m sure you’re aware, SchoolCloud experienced an outage yesterday between 4pm and 5:04pm. Yesterday did not live up to the high expectations schools have come to expect from us, nor what we expect of our ourselves, especially at this difficult time for schools....
We are making some slight changes to our home learning programme from Monday 18th January. Please read the letter via the link below for more information.
From Tuesday 12th January, your child will receive a mixture of pre-recorded Loom lessons and ‘live’ learning via Teams. This will mean that all learning will have an interactive element to it. Also, information about parent forums and year 11 parents evening.
Children are to be educated remotely over the coming weeks. In addition, the mass testing programme that we were preparing for has been put on hold.
