We also provide a means of extending their knowledge and experience through the many extra-curricular activities we offer all students. Students will take part in traditional games such as hockey, netball, football, rugby and basketball in addition to athletics, badminton, cross-country, cricket, rounders and orienteering. As well as the Physical Education within the timetable, a great deal of time is offered at lunchtimes and after school every day for students to experience being part of a team or working on individual skills. Extra-curricular activities are offered in most team activities and also trampolining, gymnastics and roller hockey.
Facilities include a Gymnasium and Sports Hall, which are in use constantly. Outdoors facilities include two grass football pitches, two hockey pitches, netball courts, including four new basketball nets. Our sports facilities are often used by the community, particularly football, rounders and badminton in the evenings.
