On Friday 5th March we are asking all of our students to come off their screens for periods 4&5 in order to spend some time preparing mentally and physically for their imminent return to the classroom.

Students will continue to do their live lessons P1-3 and then there will be a 20 minute form time session for ALL students at 12pm. It is essential for all students to log on to their form time session in order to receive their attendance mark for the afternoon and to receive the instructions for the rest of the day.

The afternoon activities are simple, require little to no equipment and are designed to get students ‘school ready’. We cannot wait to get our students back into the classroom and we hope that the activities will support students to make a smoother transition back to school. Whilst we are immensely proud of everything students have achieved through screens during lock down, we are thrilled to soon be able to say a fond farewell to remote learning and be back together with our Tottington High School family.

* Y11 Friday intervention session will run as normal *
* Our Key worker students in school will also be participating in screen free activities with staff p4&5 on this day *
