English Language Paper 1 – reading fiction/descriptive writing – revising literary devices and reading plenty of fiction/short stories/extracts will be beneficial
English Language Paper 2 – reading non-fiction/point of view writing – revising persuasive/rhetorical devices, revising the different writing formats: speech/letter/article/essay/leaflet and reading plenty of non-fiction e.g. newspaper articles online will be beneficial
English Literature Paper 1a An Inspector Calls, Paper 1b A Christmas Carol
English Literature Paper 2 Section A Macbeth, Section B Unseen poetry
Revise by re-reading the whole text, using essays and class notes as revision materials, test yourself using knowledge organisers and use the websites listed to support your revision.
